Lines.

Lines.
Lines are the connection from one point to another.

In this photo, the lines are shown to go into depth. As the photo clearly shows, the lines seem to be cracked and worn away across the concrete. Where the photo has been taken close to the edge  of the line itself, the lines give the photo depth. The positive point of this photo is that the yellow cracked lines catches the attention of the audience, this is a positive factor because it makes the photo interesting and eye catching. The negative point of this photo is that the people in the far corner can take the focus point away from the lines, this is a negative factor because it can confuse the audience. An improvement I would make to this photo is by cutting out the people in the far corner to keep the attention on the lines.

In this photo, the lines seem to create an underground tunnel with different shades of colours and thickness of the lines. In this photo the lines also create depth as the lines seem to get smaller to the audience, the further away the lines are to the camera. By showing different shapes of lines such as the lines of the walls seem to curve, the photo because more interesting to look, but it also gives the effect of being in the photo itself, as it makes you look like you're sitting at the bottom, looking up. The positive point of this photo is that it stands out against  most photos, this is a positive factor because it gives the audience a realistic feel to the photo itself. In this photo I believe that there is not a negative point, this is because there is nothing which stands out to ruin the effects of the lines.

In this photo, the lines are shown in two different ways. The first way is the obvious deep thick lines between each slab of rock. The second way is the lines created by the worn out rock as the sea erodes away the surface. The positive point of this picture is that the huge lines between the rock and the lines which create the rocks to have layers. This is a positive factor because it shows a more interesting variety between the different styles of lines that is possibly created. A never ending creation. This photo also does not have a negative factor, this is because through out the photo the lines seem to create more and more lines, which keeps the photo from being basic. The improvement I would make to this photo is by taking it from a ants eye view angle to give a more dramatic feel.

In this photo, the lines of a tree trunk seem to form a triangular shape inside of another triangular shape. Even though not a single one of these lines are completely straight, the curves of the lines create the natural look of a tree that seems to be rotting away. The positive factors of this photo is that the lines show shapes inside shapes while other patterns seem to fold around this, this is a positive factor because it makes the photo more unique compared to others. The lines seem to show a history behind them. The negative point of this photo is that the lines do not seem to outstanding like the fungi growing on the trees, this is a negative factor because it draws the attention away from the fact that lines can show an interesting look as there is not one single line the same on the side of a tree. An improvement I would make would be too take a closer shot of the lines that form the triangle instead of including everything else.

In this photo, the lines create a train track which runs off into the distance. As the lines of the train track are the focus point and catch the attention of the audiences, by taking the photo from this angle, the depth of the photo plays a key part on keeping the interest of the audiences. The photo shows a different view which stands out compared to what we as people see the train track as. The positive point of this photo is that the photo gives a different perspective of a train track of lines compared to the view that we see of a train track as we simply past by it. There is no negative point to this photo as that the whole photo in itself shows a story. A different story to each person in the audience. I would not apply any improvements to this photo either.

In this photo, the many different styles of lines create a never ending depth but also width. While the lines create the barrier of the staircase, they also create the cracks in the stairs to create the old worn away look. The positive point of this photo is that the lines create the never ending depth vertically looking down but also horizontally. This is a positive factor because it gives a puzzle view for the audience as at all angles there seems to be another focus point, this keeps the attention and focus for a few moments. I believe that this photo does not have an negative point to fit it. I believe that this photo also does not need any improvements made to it.
