Walk Two.

In this session, we all took another walk in a different public area while taking photo's with the same category as walk one. In his session, I found it so much easier to find photos I would like to take for my development work, this is because there was puddles and water effects from where it rained earlier. I believe I need to just start taking photos in different angles to get better light forms with the natural light. 

My two selected photographs:

This is my first selected photographs, and one of my favourites. In this photograph, we can see the reflection of a figure walking through the water, in this shot you can only see the models boots with the water dripping off their boots while the ripples are shown around. The edges of the grass can also be seen in the corners, as if the figure was walking through a shallow river bank. The positive point of this the colour of the water and the ripples, draw in the attention from the audience. This is a positive factor, because the audience can be drawn in so closely that they can interpret their own stories of the water and the boots. I believe that this photo does not have a negative or improvement point to reveal. 

This is my second selected photograph. In this photograph, we can see another reflection from puddles, but this time of the gates and sky. This photo has also been converted to black and white. The positive point of this photograph has to be the reflection of the gates, this is a positive factor because it shows the viewer the feeling of being trapped and withheld from everything else, while the photo is also in black in white it shows there is no hope or happiness in the emotional connection. The negative point of this photograph has to be that there is too much path shown in the right hand side of the photograph, this is a negative factor because it causes distraction to the focus point on the reflection. An improvement I would make to this photo, would be to crop the side of the photograph out more. 

Further improvements:

For my further improvement I would like to use the first selected image's reflection of the boots and legs before placing it onto the puddles of the second puddle in black and white. I would then change the opacity of the boots reflection to make it look more realistic.
