In this photo, we can see a row of star wars toys going down. The left and right hand sides are blurred out while the middle stays in focus. Even though the middle toy is still in focus, this picture still continues to reveal the depth of field as the toys go down. The positive point of this photo is that one toy is shown to stay in focus while the rest are blurred out, this is a positive factor because it keep the audience drawn in while also amused with the depth of field on either side. The negative point of this photo is that the small gun which is blurred out is in front of the focused toy, this is a negative factor because it draws the attention away and becomes an extremely annoying distraction. An improvement I would make to this photo would be to keep the first three toys in focus and then the rest blurred to keep the simple depth of field effect. 

In this photo, we can see a range of coloured lightbulbs going down through a line causing a depth of field. The positive point of this photo is the fact that the photo is extremely colourful against a plain background, this is a positive factor because it does not become over distracting and in the audiences faces. The negative point of this photo is the blue lightbulb in the left corner confuses the focus point between itself and the green lightbulb, this is a negative factor because the photo then does not succeed the attention it should draw in and change the atmosphere into something more festival like for the audience. An improvement I would make to this photo, would be too crop the blue lightbulb out of the photo. 

In this photo, we can see a bunch of roses on the edge of a curved bench, the depth of field then travels in to show the bride and what looks like bridesmaids in the background on another bench. This photo resembles the happiness of a wedding but also how the love can be viewed in a way the audiences would not see, this love would be shown as the father passing on his daughter too another man. The positive point of this photo is the fact that the depth of field is subtle, this is a positive factor because the photograph can slowly attract people instead of being too forceful and creating them to avoid the view. I believe that this photo does not have an improvement or negative factor too point out and reveal. 

In this photo, we are revealed to a view of a strip of barbed wire going off into the distance. The fact that the beginning of this barbed wire is in focus then the further it goes down into a blurred background, this is a simple depth of field. The positive point of this photo is that the small part of the barbed wire is in focus and is eye-catching, this is a positive factor because the barbed wire automatically draws people into remembering their own childhoods and how they used to try and avoid these. I believe that there is no negative or improvement that can be revealed about this photo. 

In this photo, we are all shown the depth of field of a horses nose, in this photo the depth of field follows the white mark up across to the top of the horses head. The positive point of this photo is the tones stand out of the white mark against the brown skin which then leads into the depth of field, this is a positive factor because it then draws in attention from the audience in a subtle way for two different reasons. The negative point of this photo is that it is very plain, this is a negative factor because it can make the audience to become very bored and unamused by what is being revealed. An improvement I would make to this photo would be to change the levels and curves of the photo.

This photo has the same style of depth of field as the first shown picture of the star war characters. In this photo there is shown to be three diet coke cans with the left and right side being out of focus while the middle stays in focus. This photo has less distractions and is more simple for the viewer. The positive point of this photo by keeping it simple with the depth of field, the photo becomes more outstanding and actually attracts the audience, this is a positive factor because the audience are then able to focus on what is really happening in the photo. The only negative point in this photo is that the right sided can is too close to the camera lens, this is a negative factor because it then draws the attention away from the middle centred focused can.
